2011 is turning out to be a banner year for Big Labor, and union thugs across the country; Richard Trumka and James Hoffa couldn’t be happier. Or their president, more silent.

In January, we had three weeks of death threats, vandalism, and intimidation by pro-union thugs opposed to Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s budget-repair bill.

February brought us Rep. Michael Capuano, (D-MA), who encouraged union goons to “get a little bloody.” Capuano eventually apologized for the comment, but later, IBEW thugs, apparently buoyed by the pep talk, descended on a Verizon VP’s Boston home, screaming “We’re here to fight!”

In August,Verizon was once again the target, as Communications Workers of America went on strike, and dozens of cases of sabotaged cable lines are reported. As is usually the case with union goons and their supporters, the cowards denied complicity.

Yesterday, eager to get in on the action, 500 or more Longshoremen stormed the Port of Longview in Washington state, where they overpowered security guards and held them hostage, damaged railroad cars, and dumped grain that is the center of a labor dispute.

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union claims it has the right to work at the facility, but the company has hired a contractor who is staffing the workforce with other union laborers. Unions vs. unions now, huh? This is beginning to get interesting.

So, what has Captain Civil Discourse said or done about the thuggery, violence, and death threats carried out by his Big Labor supporters?

ZERO. The Hypocrite-in-Chief  hasn’t said a word – other than to condemn Wisconsin lawmakers, and blather on like a rank-and-file fool about the rights of organized labor, that is. As a result, this president is indirectly responsible – if not worse – for the words and actions of union thugs and their supporters who are emboldened by his “in-your-face” support of  Big labor and its leaders; as well as his deafening silence in the face of their threats and acts of violence.

Teamsters thug James Hoffa summed in up rather nicely recently:

“Mr. President, this is your army. Let’s take these sons-of-bitches out!”

I’m sure “Mr. President” was pleased as punch by the vote of confidence from the Teamsters president. Although – judging by the escalating violence, I doubt that el Señor Presidente will be putting on those “comfortable shoes” and “walking that picket line” any time soon.

What will happen if the sons-of-bitches fight back, Mr. President?
