To paraphrase an Old Elton John song, the loon (bitch) is back – and she’s loonier than ever. Nancy “Death for life on this planet as we know it” Pelosi is in the news again. (One wonders if it ever occurs to loony Nancy or anyone on her staff that the only time this woman makes news is when she says something asinine – which is pretty much every time she opens her mouth in public.)

This time it’s Catholicism. The ex-Speaker, who has never had an unspoken thought, can’t understand why Catholics allow “this conscience thing” to get in their way of supporting the murder of unborn children. Yep, close-minded Catholics – what’s wrong with them?

Pelosi, who refers to herself as a “devout Catholic,” has staunchly promoted abortion in defiance of Catholic Church teachings at every opportunity. (an obvious card-carrying member of Cafeteria Catholics Anonymous, huh?) So, what exactly is it that has Ms. Nancy’s Depends in a knot this time, you ask?

Ex-Madam Nimrod is upset that the nation’s Catholic bishops are protesting a potential Obama Regime decision which would force insurance companies to cover birth control, contraception and drugs that could cause abortions. The bishops claim certain religious groups may not be exempt from providing the insurance, which would violate their moral and religious views. (as opposed to Pelosi’s immoral and atheistic views)

On Planet Pelosi, the bishops’ position is analogous with a hospital telling a woman: “I’m sorry you could die if you don’t get an abortion.” (Awesome scare tactic, madam.)

Those who dispute this characterization “may not like the language,’’ she said, “but the truth is what I said. I’m a devout Catholic and I honor my faith and love it; but they have this ‘conscience thing’ that puts women at physical risk.” (Yeah, that’s the problem with faith in God – that pesky “conscience thing.”)

This whole “you could die on the floor” bull hockey is similar to the comments Ms. Looney Tunes made awhile back in reference to a Republican bill designed to stop taxpayer-funding of abortions in Obamacare:

“Under this bill, when the Republicans vote for this bill today, they will be voting to say that women can die on the floor and health care providers do not have to intervene if this bill is passed. It’s just appalling.” (Loons certainly have a way with words, don’t they?)

This is not only a cowardly crock of crap; it’s as oxymoronic as they come.

This disingenuous wingnut whines about “women dying on floors,” and “putting women at physical risk” as a smoke screen; her sole intent is the support of abortion – for anyone and everyone – whenever and wherever they want it. Why does she not have the intestinal fortitude to just man up and admit it?

And the oxymoronic part? She calls herself a “devout Catholic,” yet complains about the moral “conscience” of Catholics – in the same sentence. Perhaps this topic would make a good book someday:

“Advanced Rationalization and the Art of Liberal Logic: An Illustrated History”

It just doesn’t get any better than the tortured mind of the crazed loon.

  1. “And the oxymoronic part?”
There are actually human beings that have voted for her AND believe she is doing a good job.
Namely the fruits and nuts in San Francisco, Callifornia

  2. Right on Ray. My only hope is that, if Obama loses the election, Ms. Nancy will still be around. What will the Rat do without these people to kick around? :-)
