Unlike those on the left who call for the censoring – or even silencing – of those on the right: Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, et al, I have always believed that we conservatives should never desire to suppress the right of left-wing loons to speak out on their beliefs and desires – as often and as loudly as possible. The more often, the better.

If liberals are afforded the opportunity to run their mouths long enough, they’ll tell us exactly who they are. This line of reasoning is anathema to liberals, of course, because they fear the message of conservatism – and they fear the ability of the Rush Limbaughs and Glenn Becks to expose the hypocrisy and failed ideology of liberalism.

Liberals are scared poopless that if enough people hear enough conservative ideology enough times, enough of them will come over to the dark side – and tip the balance. Conservatives, of course, not only have no fear of the liberal message; we want as many people as possible to hear – loud and clear – their disingenuously flawed policies – and their contempt for those with whom they disagree.

Such contempt is currently on display in a Forbes Magazine article written by global warming loon extraordinaire, Steve Zwick. Not content with simply debating those who question the “science” of man-made global warming alarmists, (along with the motives behind said alarmism), Zwick has a more novel idea:

Skeptics of man-made global warming should be tracked, hunted down and have their homes burned to the ground.

“We know who the active denialists are – not the people who buy the lies, mind you, but the people who create the lies. Let’s start keeping track of them now, and when the famines come, let’s make them pay. Let’s let their houses burn. Let’s swap their safe land for submerged islands. Let’s force them to bear the cost of rising food prices. They broke the climate. Why should the rest of us have to pay for it?”

As is generally the case with radical liberalism, (See: Occupy movement), eco-fascism inevitably calls for violence. This is nothing new, America. Remember when spikes were driven into trees in the Pacific northwest – with hopes that loggers with chainsaws would be maimed or killed when they struck those spikes? Or how about the parking lots full of SUVs set ablaze by eco-terrorists – who claimed responsibility in the name of environmentalism? Fortunately, no one has yet been killed in the name of global warming.

Memo to environmentalist wackos: Lest you think this whole notion of homes being burned to the ground is a bit too hyperbolic, it’s happened before: Militant environmentalists torched multiple home in an upscale Seattle suburb in 2008. The FBI defines eco-terrorism as “the use or threatened use of violence of a criminal nature against innocent victims or property by an environmentally oriented, sub-national group for environmental-political reasons, or aimed at an audience beyond the target, often of a symbolic nature.” It also considers eco-terrorism to be America’s number one domestic terror threat.

Never mind the fact that less and less Americans buy the pseudo-science of behind global warming every year. Never mind the ever-growing mound of evidence that suggests man-made global warming is a hoax. Neither of those facts are relevant to this article. The point is this: While it’s been said that war is the ultimate expression of politics, it can also be demonstrated that violence is the ultimate expression of liberalism in today’s America.

Move over al Qaeda, there’s a new terrorist group in town – and they’re coming to burn down your houses too; if you deny man-made global warming, that is.

Why are liberals so damn cranky, anyway?

  1. Why let facts get in the way of their narrative? The eco-terrorists have outed themselves. Good.

  2. The Nothwest Passage has opened five times in the last 400 years. They were the last five years. The Canadian Navy sent regular ships, not icebreakers, through. The Northeast Passage has opened three times in the last 400 years. They were the last three years.

Tell me again how it’s getting colder.

  3. I didn’t say it was getting colder. I did say that increasingly, data refutes much of the ginned up fear fueled by Al Gore and his ilk. (Not to mention the hundreds of millions of dollars Gore has made in the process.)

I also said that the gist of the article was not to debate man-made global warming – which I’d be happy to do – but to point out yet another example of left-wing extremist violence – or threats thereof.

  4. In a lot of places they better use rockets because if they use torches they will be nothing more than tarket practice, lol
