Idiot Teacher Tells Student He Can Be Arrested For Badmouthing Obama

From the You Knew it Was Coming department, we learn that a high school student in North Carolina recently engaged his social studies teacher in a heated debate about politics, the O-man and Mitt Romney. During the exchange, the Kool-Aid drunk teacher became unhinged and accused the student of disrespecting the president.

The loon even went so far as to tell the student that he could be jailed for badmouthing the O-man.

Memo to loon: Only in your dreams, jackass; this is the United States of America – not the People’s Republic of Obamastan. While you and your left-wing friends would love to silence all opposition to Dear Leader, those things don’t happen in this country – at least not yet.

The school district is refusing to release the name of the teacher and says that she is not responding to requests for public comment (although two students identified her to the newspaper). Furthermore, the teacher will not be suspended or even face disciplinary action for her actions. Here’s the pathetic statement released by the school:

“The Rowan-Salisbury School System expects all students and employees to be respectful in the school environment and for all teachers to maintain their professionalism in the classroom. This incident should serve as an education for all teachers to stop and reflect on their interaction with students. Due to personnel and student confidentiality, we cannot discuss the matter publicly.”

Notice how the school assigns equal responsibility to the student and the teacher, and attempts to frame the problem as being little more than an issue of disrespect. While Rowan-Salisbury would love to sweep it all under their socialist rug and have it simply disappear, it’s not happening. A teacher attempting to silence a student’s freedom of speech because she disagrees with his politics – by threatening him with arrest gets attention. Besides, who was going to arrest him – the O-man’s secret police?

The whole thing started after a student asked a question about the teacher’s “fact of the day” which said Romney was a “bully” in high school. The student asked:

“Didn’t Obama bully somebody, though?”

The teacher started to get angry and said:

“Not to my knowledge.”

A couple of students relayed the story about Obama admitting that he bullied someone (an overweight girl) when he was younger. This (accurate) observation set the teacher off – big time:

“Stop! Stop! Because there’s no comparison. He’s running for president. Obama is the president.”

As one student attempted to argue for a fair, two-sided debate on the history of the candidates, he was shouted down and talked over by the now incensed teacher. She continued:

“You got to realize, this man is wanting to be what Obama is. There’s no comparison.”

Once again, the students pressed for equal discussion of the histories of both men, with one saying:

“If you’re gonna talk trash about one side, you gotta talk trash about the other.”

The teacher began to lose it at this point, telling the defiant student:

“You will not disrespect the President of the United States in this classroom.”

Again the student persisted and invoked his First Amendment right:

“I’ll say what I want.”

The idiot teacher then read the student her Obama rules:

“Not about him, you won’t!”

The back and forth continued and the most strident of the two students reminded his teacher that President Bush was constantly treated to negative statements about him while he was in office:

“Whenever Bush was president, everybody talked shit about him.”

To which the teacher responded:

“Because he was shitty.”

The “less than informed” social studies “educator” went on her pathetic rant for a full minute, claiming that people were arrested for making derogatory comments about President Bush. The student correctly reminded the jackass that opinions are protected under the First Amendment, and that one cannot be arrested unless threats are made against the president.

Sadly, this is what we’ve come to expect from our government schools, America. Not only is this ridiculous excuse for a teacher completely out of line – and should be fired immediately – for bringing her left-wing politics into the classroom, she can’t even speak proper English.

“You got to realize”? We don’t got to realize nothin’ you moron – other than the fact that this is America,  and while you and your fellow liberals have every right to blindly worship whomever you choose, you do not have the right to impose your adulation for the O-man on your students – or anyone else.

Save it for an Obama rally – he loves every minute of it – and get the hell out of our schools.

What would be the national anthem of the People’s Republic of Obamastan?

Personally, I think we need some (actually, a lot) of new teachers. Maybe education shouldn’t be a career option for anyone that hasn’t held a job for say 10 years?

  2. She has the right to say the things she is saying from the context that all of us are garunteed free speech. From a practical standpoint however, she is in a position of granted authority and should be held accountable for her accuracy. She should also be held accountable for using her position of authority to try and influence young minds to fgollow such a slanted agenda. But the biggest issue I have with her is what cracker box excuse of a school gave that woman a teaching degree? Was there a special class for people who didn’t need to understand the application of English in a public setting? Good lord, I have never heard so many improperly framed sentences in a short time period. My dog Angus has a better grasp of the English language than this silly imbecile. She is a perfect example of what is wrong with what is obviously a grass application of affirmative action. I am glad I don’t have kids. I am saddened to think that my tax dollars went to pay her salary (I once lived in NC).

  3. Agreed. One can only imagine the outcry in the “mainstream” media were a conservative teacher to have had the same discussion with a liberal supporter of Obama.

Having said as much, this sorry excuse for a teacher should be removed from the classroom.

  4. **UPDATE**

It appears that justice is in the process of being delivered to the teacher – now identified as Tanya Dixon-Neely.

  5. Our Flag is disrespected by both incompetent Parties. Here is RNC disrespecting our Flag.
