REGIME CONTINUES TO LEAK SENSITIVE INFORMATION – ALL IN THE NAME OF REELECTING DEAR LEADER
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly when the security leaks first began to drip out of the Obama White House, but it’s easy to see that those leaks have now become a steady stream – a dangerous and deadly steady stream – all for the purpose of propping up a desperate president viewed by many as weak and indecisive. All for the purpose of reelecting Barack Obama – regardless of the real possibility of compromising U.S. security and risking the lives of those who fight the war on terror. All for politics.
As anyone who reads the Rat knows, you expect him to criticize the Regime whenever necessary – which is pretty much all the time. But Dianne Feinstein and John Kerry? Not so much.
Feinstein (D-CA), chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, blasted the latest leaks to the press about the cyberattack against Iran’s nuclear program, saying it could “to some extent” provide justification for copycat attacks against the United States. Yep, the O-man’s loose lips order could put the United States at risk of a retaliatory strike. All for votes. Said the liberal Democrat from California:
“This is like an avalanche. It is very detrimental and, candidly, I found it very concerning. There’s no question that this kind of thing hurts our country.”
Several leading Senate Democrats noted with alarm that the Iranian cyber leak is just the latest in a series of media reports that disclosed classified information about U.S. anti-terrorism activity – among those senators – John Kerry, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee:
“A number of those leaks, and others in the last months about drone activities and other activities, are frankly all against national-security interest. I think they’re dangerous, damaging, and whoever is doing that is not acting in the interest of the United States of America.”
Of course not, senator: The Obama Regime acts in the best interest of the Obama Regime.
So, how high up into the Regime can these leaks be attributed? John McCain thinks he knows the answer. On the Senate floor Tuesday, McCain called the leaks “an intentional breach” meant as a “broader administration effort to paint a portrait of the president of the United States as a strong leader on national security issues.” He said the Senate Armed Services Committee would hold hearings on the matter.
“This is the most highly classified information and has now been leaked by the administration at the highest levels of the White House. That’s not acceptable,” McCain said on CBS’ “This Morning” Wednesday.
McCain said the leaks in question – both of which were featured in prominent stories in the New York Times and contained detailed information on the Regime’s terrorist “kill list” and its efforts to use cyberattacks against Iran – represent “a breach of national security.”
“Look, this puts American lives in danger, revealing our most highly classified operations, both in cyberwar and in drones –that’s just a fact,” McCain said Wednesday.
He said the administration should not have confirmed facts for reporters: “All they had to do was say, this is classified information and we won’t discuss it.”
“What we’re hearing from the administration now – ‘well it was really okay’ – if it was okay then make it public, don’t do it in your dealings with a reporter for the New York Times,” McCain said.
Sen. Saxby Chambliss of Georgia, ranking Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee, joined to growing list of troubled lawmakers as well:
“In recent weeks, we have become increasingly concerned at the continued leaks regarding sensitive intelligence programs and activities, including specific details of sources and methods.
These disclosures have seriously interfered with ongoing intelligence programs and have put at jeopardy our intelligence capability to act in the future. Each disclosure puts American lives at risk, makes it more difficult to recruit assets, strains the trust of our partners and threatens imminent and irreparable damage to our national security in the face of urgent and rapidly adapting threats worldwide.”
The Senators have obviously failed miserably to appreciate the sole objective of the leaky Regime: The reelection of Barack Hussein Obama.
Finally – and just to make things more interesting – the FBI has now launched an investigation into leaks of classified information involving the cyber warfare program. This could get very interesting. Although – if the various investigations get rough for the Regime – Eric Holder will most likely pull an Eric Holder – and stonewall the crap out of the whole thing – as he has done with the Fast and Furious investigation – until all those involved die of natural cause. Yep, the “most transparent administration in history” just keeps getting more and more “transparent,” doesn’t it?
Will the O-man continue to borrow plays from Vladimir Putin’s reelection playbook? I certain hope so – especially that “riding a horse while not wearing a shirt” thing. Putin looks so – um – “Obama” in those pictures.
Besides, what’s a few more deaths? The Obama Media Group won’t mind – just like they haven’t minded the doubling of U.S. casualties in Afghanistan since the O-man’s reign began. Hell – they don’t even whine about Gitmo anymore.
