‘Calculated Move’ – Designed To Appeal To White Racists?
I’ve written in the past that “the liberal mind is a curious thing indeed.” Nowhere is that more evident today than in reports that liberals are now claiming that not only did Mitt Romney know he would be booed when he spoke before the NAACP earlier this week; he actually schemed and calculated to make sure it would happen. For what reason, you ask? Why, to appeal to white racists, of course. As if we didn’t already know tha- wait, what? To appeal to white racists?
As one might expect, the clown driving the clown car was none other than the San Fran Loon herself, Nancy Pelosi. Yes, America, according to the unhinged ex-Speaker, Mitt Romney did everything he could to make sure he would be booed while he addressed NAACP members:
“I think it was a calculated move on his part to get booed at the NAACP convention,” Pelosi told Bloomberg TV. And just how did Mitt make sure that would happen, Nancy? What, no explanation? Well let’s go to the sock puppets at MSNBC and see if they can explain Mitt’s motives.
Discussing Romney’s NAACP speech on his MSNBC program, self-proclaimed socialist and Obama lapdog Lawrence O’Donnell highlighted “the ‘Southern strategy’ that Republicans have used since [President] Nixon; and started a little bit before that, where there’s actually an almost overt sometimes appeal to racial and racist voting.”
AH-HA! Romney was shoring up the white racist vote! (Memo to Larry: I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure Mitt’s not too concerned with the impact of the “white racist vote.”)
Looney Larry then implored his guest:
“And tell me, Goldie, if I’m being too cynical, to think that the Romney campaign actually went into that room today with the hope of getting booed, at least three times, because they want the video of their candidate being booed by the NAACP to play in certain racist precincts where that will actually help them?”
The guest, fellow Obamabot Goldie Taylor, dutifully responded:
“I don’t think you`re being too cynical at all because Romney used a word like ‘Obamacare,’ which is a derisive term for the Affordable Care Act.”
I have three questions for Looney Larry, Goldie Taylor and the San Fran Loon:
1. If the audience had been asked to name the O-man’s healthcare plan in advance of Mitt’s speech, what do think every person in the room would have called it? (Correct answer if you’re stumped: “ObamaCare.”)
2. Did Mitt Romney know that going in? (Of course he did – blacks speak of ObamaCare with pride.)
3. If Mitt were to have referred to the “Affordable Care Act” instead of ObamaCare, would there have been people in the audience who would have had no idea what he was talking about? (The honest answer is “Yes.”)
While some of you liberal readers will no doubt accuse me racist overtones – in that I’m suggesting (not) that most blacks are too stupid to know that the official name of O’s “signature landmark achievement” is the Affordable Care Act, I have a question for you, as well:
If you went to the nearest mall and asked the first 100 white people you see to tell you the name of O’s-man’s healthcare plan, what would be the answer of a vast majority (if not all) of them? (If you’re keeping score at home, the correct answer is “ObamaCare.”)
What’s up next on the Boo Train for Mitt, a trip to the Mexican border to support moats full of alligators?
To paraphrase “W” and the late Art Linkletter: Never misunderestimate the ability (and complete willingness) of looney liberals to say the darnedest things – especially when they’re attacking Republicans.
As I said earlier today, desperate people do desperate (and incredibly asinine) things.
