Black Pastor To Fellow Blacks: End Your ‘Slavish Devotion To Democratic Party’

Something tells me Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson aren’t big fans

Bishop E.W. Jackson, founder of Exodus Faith Ministries, recently released a video calling for America’s blacks to make a mass exodus from the Democratic Party. Throughout the video, Jackson hammers both Democrats and the blacks who continue to blindly support them – while decrying what he sees as a “slavish devotion to the Democrat Party.” Amen, Pastor, amen.

This, of course, is tantamount to standing up in the middle of the Dawg Pound at Cleveland Browns Stadium and trying to convince drunken Browns fans that they should abandon their beloved team and become fans of the Baltimore Ravens.

Nonetheless, here’s Bishop Jackson’s take on the Democratic Party:

“They have insulted us, used us, and manipulated us. They have saturated the black community with ridiculous lies. “They think we are stupid and that these lies will hold us captive while they violate everything we believe as Christians.”

Um, let’s see: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes and yes.

Bishop Jackson wasn’t afraid to speak his mind – and the truth – about the alliance between the Democratic Party and Planned Parenthood either:

“The Democratic Party has created an unholy alliance between certain so-called civil rights leaders and Planned Parenthood, which has killed unborn black babies by the tens of millions.”

Incidentally, if you’re unfamiliar with Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, check out this prior article – you just might see where the Bishop’s coming from.

“The time has come to take a stand,” he concluded. “Come out from among them. Exodus now.” Watch the video:

Bishop Jackson’s comments are part of a wider movement he’s launching to mobilize blacks to take a stand against the Democratic Party. Last month, he joined other like-minded blacks in a discussion of their campaign efforts. Prior to the event, Jackson wrote the following in an e-mail to supporters:

After the event, we want to send an open letter to the church community all across the country urging it to realize that the Democrat Party is about to become the party of Christian persecution in America. Already, they call us bigots and haters for not bowing to political correctness regarding same-sex marriage.

They call us “Islamophobes” because we are concerned about Islamic radicalism and Sharia law. They say we hate women because we fight for the lives of unborn children. They are supporting the rise of the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt under the guise of the “Arab Spring.” Ask Israel about the Arab spring: Egypt has now become an enemy on its border.

The long peace is over. Billions of tax payer dollars are being sent to the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt, while they torture Christians and burn down churches. These are the policies of the Democrat Party, the polices of Christian persecution.

Incredible. And true. Something tells me Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan – and Barack Obama – aren’t overly fond of Bishop Jackson. Blacks musn’t leave the liberal plantation, you know.

  1. Well said that man. I wonder how many will listen and follow what he says.

  2. That’s a shame. The term “usefull idiots” comes to mind.
Mind you from some of the videos I have seen, the Democrat voters don’t seem to be deep thinkers. Easily led sheeple more likely.

  3. Well here’s my take. “the Devil went down to Georgia.” I been working all day and a-being past the unit mark not wanting to read things requiring mulitibraining. So here’s take from lyrics for now…: “Well, you’re pretty good ol’ son,
But sit down in that ( added by me…empty)chair right there and let me show you how it’s done.”
A bit of Eastwood prior by Charlie Daniels.
Rev. William Owens, Colialition of African American Pastors, ia another. Look up him as well. Attacked by Huffington Post. And Herman Cain…they will discredit them all.

Buts it’s likely off youtube now where Jesse Jackson said about O…”I’d like to cut his…er ACORNS…off.” ACORNS my translation. That before election 2008 while mike was supposed to be off.

Anyway don’t want to comment in definative manner til watch and think a while. :)

  4. I wish the Reverend luck in his quest. I don’t see him having too much success this year with Obama as the Democratic candidate. I would think that the real serious Christians would have abandoned the party over the reasons you mentioned, Islamic influence and the travesty we call abortion. I was appalled when Colin Powell openly supported Barry in 2008. He was a key figure in the Bush administration. I feel that he betrayed his principles. Worse yet, he sold out a fellow veteran. I think Powell valued his heritage more than his beliefs or his life as a soldier. Black people are highly loyal to each other, even total strangers. I view this as an admirable character trait. But, in the case of politics, they are supporting the wrong side of the moral argument. Then, there is the social spending issue. Democrats have sponsored the idea to just keep throwing money at the inner cities, then brag how much they are helping the black communities. I see this policy as an utter failure. But, it has worked to secure the black vote.

  5. As an African who has naturalized in the United States, hearing such truth from an African American minister brings me great joy. No one in his right mind can equate gay-rights with the slavery issue. I just hope that many African American voters will wake up and listen to their conscience and to such truths like this reverend has spoken so clearly. I pray that all true leaders in the Christian Churches and all people of good faith speak up as clearly and as convincingly as he has done. This world will be a much a better place. Amen.

  6. Good for you, Mancipium! I hope that others follow your stellar example.
